We are dedicated to preventing exploitation and caring for the affected in a world where many are bought and sold for profit.

With your support, Lighthouse Voyage works hard to stop human trafficking and helps survivors rebuild their lives with safe housing, education, and aftercare services.

Together, we are building a world without exploitation, where everyone’s dignity matters.

Our Programs

Programs that assist exploitation victims are absolutely vital for their recovery and empowerment. By offering essential resources such as counselling, education, and job training, these important initiatives not only meet the survivors' immediate needs but also support their long-term personal and professional goals. Helping these individuals achieve their dreams and aspirations can significantly transform lives and strengthen communities, as each success story contributes to breaking the persistent cycle of exploitation.

Empowering individuals in this way fosters hope, builds resilience, and creates a ripple effect of positive change, showcasing the remarkable potential for success when provided with adequate and sustained support.

Tamil Nadu, India

In Tamil Nadu, India, we collaborate with a well-established grassroots project partner known as Loving Hands India, which is dedicated to providing safe and nurturing homes for survivors of human trafficking or abuse. This organization also operates a private school and implements vital prevention programs aimed at curbing these issues.

Our local partner has been actively working in Tamil Nadu for over 15 years, during which they have successfully restored the lives of more than 400 individuals, helping them to embrace their true potential and become who they are truly meant to be. They work tirelessly to combat the alarming exploitation that continues to plague the state of Tamil Nadu, which has, unfortunately, been recognized as the Indian state with the highest number of exploitation cases in the country.

With unwavering determination, boundless passion, and deep empathy—qualities that stem from their own experiences of trauma and healing—they lead their efforts. Their focus is to change the trajectories of the women and children they assist, providing them with love, care, counseling, education, and aftercare programs that are essential for long-term healing.

Our hope is to see these individuals evolve into leaders not only in their communities but also throughout their nation and around the world.

Mumbai, India

We are excited to share about our expansion into Mumbai, India’s largest city. We are working with a grassroot organization, Jyoti Kalash. The expansion is focused on three areas. Holistic Care, Prevention, and Education.

Holistic Care

The main focus of this project will be to build a holistic care in the Red Light district. Together with our partners, we will initiate care for women who are awaiting court trial. Our emphasis will be on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, Art Therapy, and restorative and preventive work.

Prevention Work

We will also be doing preventative work by equipping caregivers, counselors, and social workers with Trauma Informed Care. This will be done in Mumbai and New Delhi to help women and children in the Red Light district. We will be offering a life skills training program for the women in these areas, as well as literacy classes, counselling and therapy services, food support, employment transition, and housing and family care.

A Human Issue

Everything we do to rescue those who have been exploited and to offer support to destitute women and children arises from a deep understanding that these are fundamentally human issues that affect us all.

Every form of exploitation and injustice has not only broken God’s heart but has also impoverished His divine design for humanity and the potential we all possess to thrive together.
