Lighthouse Voyage is a Canadian charity dedicated to combatting human trafficking and supporting survivors in building healthy, independent lives filled with hope.
We can come together to end the pervasive issue of human trafficking and work to create safe and supportive spaces for survivors to find healing and rebuild their lives.
We only work with local grass-root organizations as we believe locals are the key to empowering locals, healing communities, changing cities, and impacting the nation.
Alongside our local partners in Tamil Nadu and Mumbai, we provide safe housing, comprehensive education, and dedicated aftercare services for over 300 vulnerable children who have been rescued from the devastating realities of human trafficking and abuse.
In addition to these crucial services, we have also launched a nursing school program designed to help empower women in the community and support them in chasing their dreams of achieving a professional career in healthcare.
Currently, we have over 30 enthusiastic participants enrolled in our newly started nursing program, all of whom are committed to making a difference in their lives and the lives of others. Furthermore, our local leaders actively facilitate informative anti-trafficking presentations in high-risk areas, aiming to educate students, teachers, and the wider community about the significant dangers posed by human trafficking.
