Challenge Ideas

Choose a physical activity that will challenge you and is appropriate for your physical level. There is no “too big” or “too small”, choose what will work for you!

Challenges for Individuals

  • Run 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or Full Marathon

  • Conduct a standard triathlon (1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run)

  • Walk 10,000 - 15,000 steps every day of the Champion for Change week

  • Complete a 200 squats challenge

  • Over the week, move in your method of choice a total of 100km

  • Participate in an exercise class you wouldn’t normally, like Zumba or aqua-size and share videos of you doing it

Challenges for Teams

  • All team members run 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or Full Marathon

  • Hike 5K, 10K, 15K or more together

  • As a group, climb the equivalent elevation of Mt. Everest (29029 ft)

  • As a group over the week, move in your method of choice a total of 1000km

  • Organize a group bootcamp or HIIT class

Challenges for Families

  • Bike around your block 20 times each

  • Go for a hike together

  • Play “the Floor is Lava” for a whole day

  • Everyone do 30mins of activity everyday of the week

  • Host a family dance-a-thon
